The horntools tank skid plate is made of 4 mm thick aluminum alloy AL5052. Pressed-in beads make the skid plate even stiffer and therefore more durable. The protective plate is screwed to the original mounting points, so no drilling or sawing is necessary. After the welding and grinding work, the surface of the skid plate is sandblasted, KTL coated and then powder-coated in RAL9005 matt black.
This protective plate can be mounted alone. The protective plate is attached to the original tank straps.
