Vehicle Light Kits

A light kit is the cleanest way to retrofit auxiliary driving lights to your vehicle: light bar, vehicle-specific bracket and wiring harness are matched to each other, and the light bar sits discreetly in the grille. For the Ford Ranger Wildtrak from 2023 and the Mercedes Sprinter from 2022, Strands combines the Siberia XP DR 12" with a stainless steel bracket made in Sweden. The light bar delivers 6120 lumens at 84 W, reaches 1 lux at 529 m, is protected to IP67/69K and approved to ECE R148 and R149. It is connected via a plug-and-play wiring harness. See the Ford Ranger Wildtrak light kit and the Mercedes Sprinter light kit. For the Toyota Hilux Invincible from 2021, the Toyota Hilux light kit uses the Siberia XPA DR 8": 4004 lumens, 435 m at 1 lux and a beam up to four times wider than the standard high beam. In many cases, the 3D-printed brackets from Sweden can be fitted without removing the grille.

For the Isuzu D-Max from 2025, the Isuzu D-Max light kit comes with two Osram VX180-SP SR. The two driving lights are hidden in the grille, deliver 1400 lumens each at 19 W and reach 1 lux at 320 m. They are approved to ECE R149 and carry the E9 mark. They are mounted on existing fixing points, the wiring harness is fully pre-assembled and is linked to the high beam via a tap connector. Before installing a light kit, check whether your vehicle uses CAN-BUS electronics: the Strands kits for Ford Ranger and Mercedes Sprinter do not include a CAN-BUS interface.
